A dark, almost fairy tale set at sea. A young orphan girl tries to escape her life by rowing a stolen rubber raft out to sea. She is rescued by lonely old man on a rickety fishing boat who, after much convincing, teaches the young girl his trade--collecting the souls of those lost at sea and trading them for money. A heartwarming tale about family and friendship, with a dark and mystical bent.
Premiered as part of the Gallery Series in the University of Iowa's Theatre B.
